If the Meta Pixel installed on your website doesn't match the ID of the Pixel that is connected to your ad account in Smartly, you need to share that pixel and connect it with the correct ad account(s).
- Check on your website which Pixel you have installed (use Pixel Helper from Chrome)
- Check Smartly > Settings > Pixels which Pixel is connected with your ad account
- If the Pixel IDs are different, you need to follow the instructions on this article.
Share the Pixel from Business Suite
Log in into Business Suite
Visit the Settings and Pixel section
Find the Pixel with the correct id and assign ad accounts for it:
Click on Assign Ad Account and select the Ad Account(s) that will be allowed to use the pixel.
Double check that the Pixel and the Ad Accounts are now connected. The view before Assign Ad Accounts button shows whether the Pixel is already assigned to the needed account.
Select the shared Pixel in Smartly
The Default Meta Pixel is the one that is selected in the account settings as Use by default. Meta Pixels selected as track by default will gather conversions for all the campaigns on the account. The changes take place if the campaigns are edited, or new ads are created.
Don't forget to save the Pixel changes by clicking Save Meta Pixel changes.
