You can use macros to dynamically refer to properties in the campaigns, ad sets, and ads. In the UI, you can spot a macro from the {{double curly brackets}} that the macro name is wrapped in.
Some use cases for macros include naming campaigns, ad sets, and ads, and UTM tracking.
You can even combine macros with Liquid templating to build sophisticated naming conventions, for example.

Add a macro to a field
- Place your cursor in the field where you want to add the macro.
- Either click or type {{ in the field, and select a macro on the list that opens.
